Warner Bros. Movie World (QLD)

Without a doubt, the original and best Halloween event in Australia. With world class mazes, scare precincts and live shows, Movie World’s Halloween offerings compare favourably to its U.S. counterparts.

Aussie World (QLD)

This year Aussie World has certainly punched above its weight by offering four fantastic horror mazes, VIP panic rooms and a bucket load of roaming scare actors. With less queuing for rides and some great entertainment offerings, Aussie World is certainly a fantastic alternate to the larger Gold Coast parks’ offerings.

Dreamworld-Halloween-Screamworld-2016 The ultimate Halloween guide for Australian theme parks

Dreamworld (QLD)

Dreamworld’s Halloween event focuses more on families and is more akin to its year-round Screamworld events. Still, it is a great option for families who want a more laid back, family friendly alternative to Movie World’s Fright Nights.

Sea-World-Halloween-2016 The ultimate Halloween guide for Australian theme parks

Sea World (QLD)

The most family friendly offering of the Gold Coast parks. Kids will absolutely love the trick AND treat trail, fancy dress parade and live entertainment.

Adventure-World-Halloween-2016 The ultimate Halloween guide for Australian theme parks

Adventure World (WA)

Focusing on its entertainment offerings, Adventure World in Perth takes Halloween seriously — albeit not with such a “scary” take like some of the other parks do. With world class rides, roaming scare actors and some great tunes, it’s definitely the place to be in Perth this Halloween!

This event has been massively upgraded and is set to be quite scary. Besides two intense mazes, there are plenty of food trucks and live entertainment.

It was a sell out last year, and we’re guessing this year will be no different. Make sure you come along to Luna Park Sydney this Halloween for something a bit scary and plenty fun.

Luna Park Melbourne (VIC)

With some great entertainment options and a few awesome scares, Luna Park Melbourne is definitely up there with its Halloween offerings.
